My husband & I are interested in joining the Veteran Car Club (NW Coast Tas) We haven't even purchased a car yet but we have been looking to do something that we could both become interested in. After some discussion we thought the Car Club looked very interesting. We would appreciate some feed back of which is the best way to learn about your Club & then become involved. Thanking you for any information. Cheers Jan

In reply to Paul Sumner & Paul O'Bryan.
The Veteran Car Club members like showing their vehicles as often as we can,but we need at least 3 months notice to plan an outing & insert it into our monthly magazine which is our ONLY way of advising the members. As for hiring out vehicles with or without owners this is not possible due to strict registration requirements, however for some special occasions with plenty of notice permission can be sort from the proper authorities.

I am making an enquiry to your members seeking interest in someone being involved in an Antiques Roadshow fundraising for the National Trust Tasmania, where we need a vintage car to hire or for the owner to drive us from town to town starting Clarendon House 12 Feb- and ending at Runnymede at Hobart 19 February in return for a fee either to them or to your club. Can you help? Paul Sumner Managing Director Mossgreen Auctions 0412 337 827 [email protected]

Hello,
I have a 1965 Valiant ute. At this age, 46 years, I believe it is referred to as Classic as it is over 25 years old.
At what age does a car become a Veteran Car and at what age a Vintage Car?
If you can help me I would appreciate it.
Thanks.
Geoff
